Refund Policy

Clear refund and cancellation rules for Dogy subscriptions, software products, and professional services purchased through dogy.co.in.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to payments made to Dogy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. through our website, client dashboard, invoices, or authorised payment links. It works together with our Terms of Service and any project-specific agreement you have signed.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

2. Subscriptions & SaaS products

Standard subscription plans

  • 7-day cooling-off: For first-time subscriptions of eligible online products (e.g. Dogy ePaper and similar SaaS plans), you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase if you have not substantially used the service (e.g. heavy publishing, bulk uploads, or custom domain go-live).
  • Renewals: Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable once the new billing period has started. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid future charges.
  • Mid-cycle cancellation: If you cancel during an active period, access continues until the end of the paid term; we do not normally provide pro-rata refunds unless required by law or explicitly stated on your invoice.

Free trials

If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you upgrade early. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.

3. Custom development & services

For website development, mobile apps, AI solutions, digital marketing, and other bespoke work:

  • Refunds depend on the signed quotation or contract and project milestone completed.
  • Advance / booking amounts are typically non-refundable once work allocation, design, or development has started.
  • If Dogy fails to deliver agreed scope without remedy after written notice and a reasonable cure period (usually 15 business days), a partial or full refund of unused prepaid amounts may be issued at our discretion.
  • Delays caused by client non-cooperation (missing content, approvals, or payments) are not grounds for a refund of completed milestones.

4. Non-refundable items

The following are generally not refundable:

  • Domain registration, SSL, third-party licence, or government filing fees paid on your behalf.
  • Completed deliverables already accepted in writing or deployed to production.
  • Promotional or heavily discounted plans marked "non-refundable" at purchase.
  • Chargeback abuse or violation of our Terms of Service.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@dogy.co.in with:

  1. Registered name and email / client ID
  2. Invoice or transaction ID
  3. Date of payment and amount
  4. Reason for the refund request

We will acknowledge requests within 2 business days and aim to resolve eligible claims within 7–14 business days after verification.

6. Refund method & timing

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible (UPI, card, net banking, etc.).
  • Bank and payment gateway processing may take an additional 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
  • If the original method is unavailable, we may offer account credit or an alternative method agreed in writing.

7. Cancellations

You may cancel future renewals from your client dashboard (where available) or by emailing support before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically delete data immediately — export your data before cancellation if needed.

We may cancel services for non-payment, fraud, or Terms violations without refund of amounts owed for usage already provided.

8. Chargebacks & disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to account suspension and recovery of costs. We will provide transaction records to resolve genuine disputes fairly.

Consumer grievances may also be raised under applicable Indian consumer protection laws if you qualify as a consumer for the transaction in question.

9. Service failures

If a paid service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to a fault on our infrastructure (excluding scheduled maintenance or third-party outages), eligible customers may receive service credit or a proportional refund for the affected period, at Dogy's discretion.
